new age, new stuff

So I turned 20 yesterday, so I decided to start new, and only leave those things that are truly mine. Thus why I deleted all my posts and to begin again. I have a new Life Blog which I will probably update more than this one but if anything interesting comes up I will put it here too.

So what is up?
well not much. I am now unemployed and studying full time. I have a TON of school work and most of it is boring or frustrating. I got another B on my organic chemistry test, so that sucks as well.

As fro me, well, no more make up and preppy stuff because that really is just not me, and well I will blog because I want to and about what I really like. For those who like it, awesome, if you don't well unfollow me without a doubt!

thanks for reading!

New idea, Recipe of the day (ROTD)

SO since I  love cooking I have decided to make a section in my blog for my cooking. They are nor all original recipes but I will post credit for the person who owns.
Last nights meal was an original recipe based on something I love but did not know how to make and it turned out a success.

Today I am making Paula Deen's Recipe for Chocolate filled eclairs. Here are the directions.

Pastry:
Ingredients
1 cup water
1 stick margarine or butter
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
4 eggs
Filling:
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups milk
3 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
Icing:
2 (1-ounce) squares chocolate
2 cups sugar
1 cup whipping cream

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Heat water and margarine or butter to boiling point. Add flour and stir constantly until mixture is smooth and forms a ball. Remove from heat and let cool. Beat in 4 eggs, 1 at a time and once incorporated, place into a pastry bag. On a greased cookie sheet, pipe out dough in thick lines that form eclairs. Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until light brown. Set aside to cool.
In a medium saucepan, prepare filling by whisking together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar and salt. Whisk in about 1 cup milk and cook over low heat, stirring often, until thickened or the consistency of mayonnaise. Add the rest of the milk and then temper in 3 beaten eggs and continue to cook until mixture is even thicker. Remove from heat, cool and add vanilla.
With a serrated knife, slice pastry puffs lengthwise, but not all the way through. Pipe custard mixture into the center. Melt chocolate for icing, add sugar and cream. Cook over medium heat until soft ball stage. Let cool and beat until smooth. Ice tops of the eclairs.

*my personal note if you do not have a pastry bag do not need one, just use a regular ziplock bag and cut an opening on the bottom corner. Learn from my experience, do not make a big opening or big lines, they WILL turn out HUGE... lol

After finishing them off Several people tried them. I did not love the filling but I did like the icing and pastry itself. Everyone else loved them. I recommend this  recipe to those who love chocolate. If you would like you can fill the pastries with nutella chocolate... or use more cocoa and a little less flour on the filling.

Later I will post the pictures if my baking journey

Poem 1

Woke up in a new day
feeling a totally new way.
The world seems brighter,
my shoulders feel lighter,
and I hear the birds sing,
something inside me clings.
and the way you smile gives me faith....
A new horizon forms before me,
new challenges will make me be
the bigger person I wish to be.
My emotions travel, wandering
like a carnival ride pondering
many ideas abandoning.
The time feels right, I think it is time...

Poetic Nymphs

Without you my life is sorrow,
with you I wish for tomorrow,
forever I will let you borrow,
what my heart longs to follow.

For you I'd give it all,
many times I'm willing to fall,
never stepping into a wall,
never letting my heart out in the stall.

In your eyes there's never bore,
every kiss better than before,
every hug steps out the door,
to be with you I implore.

What is that I hear?
Fast beating when you're near,
my heart flips for you to be here,
get here fast, help me dear!

Three words I must say,
I keep thinkin through the day,
shall i write them down?,Nay!
I must let it out, there's no other way.

I love you, yes it's true,
three words just for you.
What should I now do?
Just wait and hope you do too.

Honey it's you I'm craving,
I sit here all night waiting,
for the words to start saying,
I love you, let's go sailing.

On a boat of love there's much more,
just us far away from shore,
we only need us and nothing more,
because we let love come in our door.

Watching the sun set,
it is so beautiful I bet,
it will take forever to get
the way that you and I met.

One more thing I need to ask,
please help me remove this mask,
by commanding me selfless tasks,
my self respect will fill its flask.

With this last verse I must part,
believing love is like an art,
it doesn't make you great, it doesn't make you smart,
it's just a way to give life a start.

This came from a random inspiration today after I read The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe. I loved the poem, it inspired me in some way because I wrote this, but yea hope you like it!

La Princesa de la Soledad

Aveces me pregunto si sera real
todo esto q siento
parece demasiado para creerlo
pero trato d despertar y no es un sueƱo
pero como alguien podria acercarse
si yo me mantengo lejos lejos d todo
solo algien arriesgado se arriesgaria
solo algien q le interese podria
solo algo verdadero podria sobrepasar
todos los obstaculos en el camino
y salir triunfante en el duelo
que impone mi soberania.
Yo soy la princesa
d toda esa soledad
y solo un principe azul d verdad
se podria ganar mi corazon
ese fuiste tu, tu lograste conseguir el camino
q llevaba a mi castillo, muy lejos
alla abajo en el abismo
dentro d toda esa maleza,
